SOME GREATER CLASS (2015)

A live performance exploring class and gender where the dancers’ movements lay bare the subtle and not-so-subtle dynamics of contemporary pop culture and it’s context.

Created in collaboration with musicians Gwilym Gold and Darkstar, Some Greater Class inscribes the process of viewing and being viewed on the performers’ bodies. The work aims to explore and decode the possibility art has in unpicking classifications of social structure, whilst equally acting complicit in those same principles that divide us.
